Counting down

Many things have happen since I have been home I am going to start with the latest news. I injured myself AGAIN! I was walking the dogs and rolled my right ankle right off the edge of the sidewalk to the grass into a hole. MAN it hurts. I also slammed my left knee into the cement and scratched the crap out of that. So now I am typing with my foot wrapped trying not to move it and my jeans keeps hitting me opened knee. BLAH! Here I come to bed soon!

We are dog sitting for my neighbors and we rescued a Sheba mix we think dog. Both are great dogs. We have found a home for the Sheba ( which we though was Chow chow, but I am not thinking so much of that now ) but the guy cant take Surrry ( Sheba ) for about a few weeks, so it makes we go walking 4 times a day. But my hubby helps a lot too.

And we have started Adoption services. We are going with American Adoption. We have found 2 companies that are willing to work with us doing a domestic adoption. The other company never called back, so we went with American Adoption. We are so happy, Wade who is our case worker is amazing. No matter what questions I have he knows the answer. He is so great. We have 4- 8 weeks to do our home study. Which is alot of paper work and documents, along with a social worker has to come and check out the home and paperwork to make sure we are good to go! We actually just found out that theres a Social worker that does Adoption abroad that just moved to MISAWA! We cryed! It was such a great blessing to know we didnt have to pay someone to come here to Japan! We have chosen to adopt a Bi/Mixed Racial African American Baby! We dont

SO today we went and bout two outfits, One boy, One girl. Plus we got the cutest booties to hang in the car mirror. Can you say excited!

Okay getting back to point....... We have the home study and then we have to be approved, once approved we are ACTIVE status. Which means we are launched Nation wide to all social workers that go through American Adoption. Then we will get chosen by the birth parents, that could take 1 day to 12 mths. We have the choice to accept or to keep going with more profiles. Once we accept we will be given the date of birth. So we are most likely going to be there for the BIRTH! Then once we are there we will get to meet up wit the birth parents and wait for the baby. Once the baby s born and goes to the Nursery we get a hospital Rome and wait for the baby to come in. We stay with the baby and in the hospital and sign all of the documents to make it final. We know that there is a chance that the mom will change here mind and want to keep the baby. Thats a risk we are willing to take. The great thing is that when that happens the company takes the hospital bills and we dont have to pay a DIME! After that we get launched again to the social workers. .......... Okay back to a great Scenario......... We then stay in a hotel with the baby and wait for the clearance to leave the state. That can take10-14 days. then we head home.

Wow where has the time gone?

okay so this past 2 mths that I have been home have been so great. We went to Tokyo, Camping, Kayaking, Hiking, Exploring, Festivals, beaches, Trains, and more. Its been so packed and this Saturday Mike leaves for Georgia for 10 days ( booo) but he has training he has to go to. But at least I am going to Girls camp next week so that will help. Then in September Mike leaves again for a week to Tokyo for work, and Baby Mikey and his Mother Sandra will be in the states. So I will all alone. BLAH!

So I am always tired and trying to keep up with the laundry. Ohh and Ed Mikes best friend came for 12 days and that was a BLAST! So we really haven't had much dull time. The time is flying. Befor I konw I will have to get ready for CHRISTMAS! Thats right I said it!
I am so grateful to the time I had back in the states and I am so glad that Mike and I am enjoying each others time together.

I am not sure what to write about because I have been doing so many stuff its hard to go back. I need to get better at this!

"Mhai Ambulance Ride"

After dealing with an excruciating massive headache yesterday, I wasn't expecting of another ordeal that i have to deal with today.... When I went to see my Doctor today for my Prenatal check up, my Blood Pressure reading was 162/102. With this high of BP reading, my Doctor immediately had me go to the hospital to do some testings. While I was at the hospital in Richfield, the nurses continued to monitor my Blood Pressure but it kept on getting higher. The next thing I know was that I was being transported with a 3 hour drive to a major hospital in Salt Lake City via an Ambulance due to a possible stroke and seizure caused by Preeclampsia. The 3 hour drive was not only bumpy and long but it was life threatening as well. Although they have given me some medicine to lower my blood pressure down thru an IV, my Blood Pressure still to was hard to stabilized. There came a point that it went up to 198/112. I was really lucky that I have a great Doctor who was really concerned and took care of me.

To Be Continued...

Sam writting.....
So I may not have kids but it breaks my heart when a baby has to stay in the hospital. Please keep them in your hearts! thank you!

Old Pictures

My sister Steph posted some photos from her wedding back in 1999.
I was in shock at my blonde hair!
The worse thing about these dresses is Steph wouldn't let us wear Bras or underwear.
NO LINES ALOUD! I still feel uncomfortable just looking at the pictures.
Back when my dad fit in this tux. He wore it for 3 weddings,
I dont know if he would fit in it now?
My mom was so skinny! My dad looks like he is in pain or pooping!
And this is my hair 2 years later. Natural and much better than the blonde. SOmetimes I miss having my longer hair but its the growing out part that sucks!
